Hello there.
It is time for me to write something down here. I am a 3rd year VACD student and i took CS450 to enhance my skills in the digital platform and also more importantly i wanted to have a broader sense about what one can create on the virtual platform and that creation would serve to what purpose. Actually i've never been a computer genius or passionately interested in computer technologies or digital art. But nonetheless decided that i do have to experience what this field has to offer which had become indispensable for the 21th century design world. Past two weeks we discussed what is done, what could be done in the field generally, we saw some examples from previous years, Elif Ayiter and Selim Balcısoy tried to explain adequately the capabilities, limitations, opportunities that the marriage between arts and computing give birth to. Now from what i listened and saw, i am pretty scared because at the moment i have no idea about what to think, what to imagine. I hope, tomorrow when the groups are decided, as a group we'll come up with something original, something functional.
